JL50: A Blend of History and Time Travel Gets a Decent Landing

The JL50 is a mixture of Indian mythological and scientific fiction. The film is directed by Shailendra Vyas and stars Abhay Deol, Pankaj Kapoor, Piyush Mishra, Hrithik Anand, and Rajesh Sharma in the lead roles. This series talks about quantum physics and the concepts of time travel. The story involves an investigation into a plane crash that leads to the theory of time travel. The series can be found on Sony Liv.

The story of JF50

When the AO26 is completely destroyed, one AO26 crashes out of the way. Santanu, a CBI official, was tasked with investigating whether the plane had been hijacked due to the crash. Chandan was informed when he reached the spot that the JL50 had crashed and the AO26 had been hijacked at various places.

But the catch is that JL50 left Kolkata 35 years ago. So where has the airplane been hidden for the last 35 years? All passengers on board JL50 die except a pilot, Bihu Ghosh, and a passenger identified as B. C. Mitra.

As the story unfolds, Shantanu realizes that the JL50 plane had crashed and was struggling to find the cause of the accident. However, all the evidence proves that the plane crashed 35 years ago in 1984. Santanu, a professor of quantum physics, bought a JLL ticket last year, but it is interesting to note the fact that he did not board the plane.

You can first learn how the philosophers of the time of the troubled King Ashoka proved that time travel is possible. Professor Das reveals the secrets of his research and believes that JL50 is the right point of travel. Faced with growing political tensions, Shantanu must find out if the plane crash was discovered or if it was indeed a time journey. If it is staged, what is its purpose, if it is about time travel, then who can prove it, who knows the formula?

About The Series

There is a power that resonates with the concept and role of the series. The tree is not very strong, it leaves ahead and a small moment. The interesting thing about the series is that it is not trying to play the role of a hero. Bollywood producers are usually tough to resist. The sequence of actions also showed that Chandan does not jump out of the building or chase a suspect in the midst of high traffic. The cinematography captures the essence of Kolkata beautifully.

What doesn't work for the series?

The background score is a bit scandalous as it changes the mood of the story, but the actors don't change it. The story has many plotlines and often the main theme changes from story to story. The show has seemed a bit unfocused in recent episodes, but it somehow failed to live up to the expectations of promotional scenes and videos.

Final opinion

JL50 presents an amazing story with a mix of myth and time travel ideas. This series is a bold attempt to present a complex concept when time is running very smoothly. Artists perform better and can say a lot even if they are quiet. Take a look at the program once, and keep an open mind for performances and filmmaking.
