Space Suit Basics

You must have seen astronauts always wear a special kind of dress. After going to space, astronauts have to wear suits there. A thick suit and helmet and oxygen mask are also attached to the suit. This is called a space suit. There are many thing in spacesuit like Computers, Air Conditioner, Oxygen and even a inbuilt toilet. It is not possible to live in space without wearing this space suit. The spacesuit is a special kind of suit which don't allow the oxygen to go out from the suit and astronauts are also able to survive in an unfavorable space environment because of the suit.

There are also small Rockets attached in spacesuit, by which Astronauts can move forward with speed.
If astronauts found something ( Which is not too big or heavy ) in space or any planet which is important to them then they can put the thing in the space suit.

Making such kind of suit is not a easy task. Scientists have also worked hard and researched to prepare this space suit.The spacesuit is so expensive in cost. It maybe $25 Million. This suit is not made of the clothes that we and you wear. NASA scientists prepare this suit for astronauts after assessing space conditions, The time to live in space and The work astronauts wants to do. Suits of astronauts are made using a substance called 'Hard Upper Torso'. 'Hard Upper Torso' is the upper part of a spacesuit that is hardened to support the helmet, arms, and lower torso

After wearing this suit, our body temperature and the pressure on the body from the external environment is controlled by the suit. In addition, this suit is made in such a way that it acts as a shield to protect astronaut's body from harmful rays present in space. There is a life supporting system inside this suit, from which astronauts get pure oxygen. This suit also has a system of recharging and discharging gas and liquids. If the astronauts are near to sun then the temperature may increase by 120°celcius. But because of suit astranouts are not harmed by the temperature.
Sunita Williams has made a record of living in space for six months and the longest space walk.

Means in total, Astronauts don't have any tention in space regarding spacesuit. In this suit, astronauts can preserve the solid particles collected from there
